Power Supply specifications for multiple products

in FAQs

The correct power supply must be used for electronic equipment. Use of power supplies with incorrect specifications can have effects as mild as erratic behavior, and as severe as burning out the equipment.

Printers with wrong power supplies have been known to power on but not operate, exhibit blinking lights when powered on or attempting to print, or other odd behavior.

A printer's power switch should be in the Off position before plugging in the power supply plug. This will prevent sparking at the printer's power jack.

Timeclocks with wrong power supplies have been known to power on but not communicate over the network, show an unchangeable wrong date, etc.

Note: Just because a plug physically fits into a jack doesn't mean it's the correct adapter; the volts and amps must match as well.

Model Number, Specs
All barrel connectors have positive (+) tip
unless otherwise specified.
