There are no further hardware repair options for older Wx100 timeclocks as of August 2013.
The label on the back on the clock lists both a model and a part number:
Model: 1100, Part Number: 1100EB
Model: 2100, Part Number: 2100EM
Model: 3100, Part Number: 3100ER
The only hardware troubleshooting available for these models is to power cycle them. If this does not solve the problem, the only option is to purchase a newer model timeclock. The 1100 (barcode) clock is directly replaced by the BC100 model. The 3100 (RFID) clock is directly replaced by the RF200 model. There is no replacement available for the 2100 (magstripe) clock. Note that since the new clocks will only work with WaspTime v7, users of older versions of WaspTime would need to upgrade to v7 at the same time.
Symptoms of unrepairable hardware issues that have been reported:
Err# on the clock display (the number varies).
LED lights up, but no time displays.
will not read timecards.
