Newer vaccine bottles have 2 barcodes, a GS1 DataBar Omnidirectional and a GS1 DataBar Limited. Other medical packaging may use these symbologies.

 

To enable these symbologies in the WDI4600 scanner, scan the following configuration barcodes from the Product Reference Guide (if needed, download from the Scanner User Manuals link below in Related Pages). You may be able to scan these from a PDF on computer screen, if the view is zoomed in large enough.

 

1. Printed page 150 (PDF page 160): Enter/Exit Programming Mode

 

2. Printed page 150 (PDF page 160): GS1 DataBar™ Omnidirectional = Enable

 

3. Printed page 156 (PDF page 166): GS1 DataBar™ Limited = Enable
