When printing a label with an image on it, if the print job takes a very long time to load and/or you notice it is spooling a few hundred megabytes of data to the print spooler, you can change the printer driver to High Density.
In Windows, go to Devices and Printers. Right click the printer and go to Printer Properties, then click Preferences, then switch to the Options tab. Set Direct to Buffer to High Density. This will reduce the size of the print job and allow it to print faster.
