Labeler v7 creates Data Matrix barcodes to the ECC 200 specification. ECC 200 barcodes can be up to 144x144 and can link up to 16 symbols to encode larger amounts of data, with even numbered modules on a side.

Labeler  does not create Data Matrix barcodes to the older specifications (including ECC000, ECC050, ECC080, ECC100 and ECC140), which have odd-numbered modules from 9 x 9 to 49 x 49.
