Labeler/MobileAsset v7: ERROR [42S02][Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Invalid object name ‘vLabelerAsset<labeltype>’ when editing/refreshing data

Jason Whitmer

in Version 7

In most installations, but not all, the MobileAsset System DSN has the default database name ‘WaspTrackAsset’ set up correctly. Check to make sure the MobileAsset database name setup on the MobileAsset system DSN on ODBC Data Source Administrator* is correct if the user receives these errors when editing labels:

ERROR [42S02][Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Invalid object name ‘vLabelerAssetLocation’

ERROR [42S02][Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Invalid object name ‘vLabelerAssetEmployeeBadge’

ERROR [42S02][Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Invalid object name ‘vLabelerAsset_AssetTag’.

*Remember that on 64 bit versions of Windows, the ODBC configuration must be done by running C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe, rather than opening Data Sources (ODBC) from the control panel.
