InventoryControl: How to reprocess a previously-processed mobile device batch file

in Version 7

Situation: Using InventoryControl's Mobility (Batch) to Get Data From Mobile Device, there was a problem with the mobile device, and errors occurred. Now the mobile device contains updated data, the PC's data is out of date, and both Get Data and Process Data report that there is no new data to be retrieved. How can the last Get Data transaction be repeated?

1. Tools menu, Options, Previously Processed Mobile Data, check Yes box, OK.

2. Find the following folder on your hard drive. Some of the folders are hidden, so you may need to enable showing hidden files in Windows File Explorer to be able to find the folder.

Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista: C:\ProgramData\Wasp Barcode Technologies\InventoryControl\4.0.0.0\MobileData_XML\History

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Wasp Barcode Technologies\InventoryControl\4.0.0.0\MobileData_XML\History

3. Find the most recent file there, right-click and Cut it, then go up one level to the MobileData_XML folder, then right-click in that folder and Paste.

4. Go back to InventoryControl, Mobility, Windows Mobile / CE (Batch), then click Process Mobile Device Data. You should see an entry with your transactions. Follow the normal procedure to accept or discard transactions.
