To make the 9500 or 9505 to send a Tab or Enter after each scan:

On page 2 of the Quick Reference Guide, there is a set of 5 numbered steps.

Scan steps 1-3. 

For step 4, scan Enter or Tab, or if you want the scanner to do nothing after a scan, skip step 4.

Scan step 5 to complete the programming.
