For the DR5 mobile device, to enable the scanner in the Long Range Scanner Grip, follow these steps:

1. In the DR5, go to settings and tap App Update Center. Make sure WiFi is connected.
2. On App Update Center, tap NOT INSTALLED to search for the App external USS.
3. Download external USS and then enable it. (External USS App is for the long range gun grip.)
