Wasp ships the DR5 with the protective bumper installed on the unit, so the "detachable component" insert does not need to be installed in the cradle (and will prevent insertion of the DR5).

If the detachable component has been installed and needs to be removed, use two hands (as pictured in the Quick Start Guide) to pull up both sides at the same time. Pulling up on only one side will not work.
