The WLS9600 (1D) and WDI4600 (2D) scanners have a serial cable and power supply availble for purchase.

The data cable is model CAB-408. It has a 10-pin RJ-50 connector at one end (similar to a network cable's RJ-45) and a 9-pin female serial plug at the other. The serial plug also has a barrel connector port for attaching the power supply, whose output is 5V 2.5A and plug size 5.5mm.

To remove an existing data cable from the scanner, insert a straightened small paper clip into the small hole in the housing near the plug, then gently pull the cable out.

When the data cable is plugged into the scanner, and the power supply is plugged into the serial plug end of the cable, the scanner will send scanned data over the serial cable. There is no need to scan any configuration barcodes to enable this. The connected PC or other system must be expecting to receive data in serial format.
