606 Thermal Printer - Error: On the display I see Ready, but after calibrating I get an error light.

1. Reset and 2. re-calibrate your printer:

1. Reset

Turn the printer OFF
Press and hold the PAUSE & FEED buttons
Turn the printer ON while holding the PAUSE & FEED buttons
When the printer is ON the ON LINE & ERROR LIGHTS are lit (this is probably what you have)
Release the PAUSE & FEED buttons
Turn the printer OFF again
go to step 2. re-calibrate
2. re-calibrate

·  Turn the printer OFF 

·  Press and hold the PAUSE button 

·  Turn the printer ON while holding the PAUSE button 

·  When the printer reads "GAP/BLINE sensor calibrating..." you can release the PAUSE button
The printer will feed some labels 

·  Once the calibration is done, turn the printer OFF 

·  Turn the printer ON and you should be ready to print
