WaspTime v7 crashes when viewing timecards: "WaspTime 7 has stopped working."

This is a known issue and will be addressed in a future patch.
 
The standard workaround sets the Windows display settings to "Smaller - 100%" or "Normal size (96 DPI)".
The advanced workaround allows up to 117% magnification.
 

Standard Workaround for Windows 11:

Note: Windows will require you to log off and back on for the settings to take effect. 

  1. Right click the desktop and choose "Display Settings"
  2. Scroll down and choose "Turn off custom scaling and log off"
  3. After logging back on, WaspTime will not crash when viewing timecards.

Standard Workaround for Windows 8, 7, Vista:

Note: Windows will require you to log off and back on for the settings to take effect. 

  1. Start menu, Control Panel, Display.
  2. If you only see 8 categories in Control Panel instead of many icons:
    1. Click "Appearance and Personalization".
    2. Under Display, click "Make text and other items larger or smaller".
  3. Change the setting to Smaller - 100% (default), then click Apply.
  4. Click Log off now.
  5. After logging back on, WaspTime will not crash when viewing timecards. 

Standard Workaround for Windows XP:

Note: Windows will require restarting the PC for the settings to take effect. 

  1. Start, Settings, Control Panel
  2. Display, Settings tab, Advanced Button.
  3. In the DPI setting popdown, click the setting for Normal size (96 DPI).
  4. OK, OK, OK, Yes (skip file copying), Close, Yes (restart computer).
  5. After logging back on, WaspTime will not crash when viewing timecards.

Advanced Workaround for Windows 8, 7, Vista:

Note: Windows will require you to log off and back on for the settings to take effect. 
  1. Start menu, Control Panel, Display.
  2. If you only see 8 categories in Control Panel instead of many icons:
    1. Click "Appearance and Personalization".
    2. Under Display, click "Make text and other items larger or smaller".
  3. At the left, click "Set custom text size (DPI).
  4. Double-click to select the current percentage.
  5. Type 117
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Click Log off now.
  9. After logging back on, WaspTime will not crash when viewing timecards.

Advanced Workaround for Windows XP:

Note: Windows will require restarting the PC for the settings to take effect. 
  1. Open Notepad or anything with a text field.
  2. Type 117, select the number, right-click it, Copy.
  3. Start, Settings, Control Panel
  4. Display, Settings tab, Advanced Button.
  5. Pop down the DPI setting control to Custom Setting.
  6. Right-click the percentage value, Paste.
  7. OK, OK, OK, Yes (skip file copying), Close, Yes (restart computer).
  8. After logging back on, WaspTime will not crash when viewing timecards.
