Updated March 25, 2024
Cloud On-Premise (AssetCloud & InventoryCloud) release builds, compatibility with SQL Server and Windows versions.
=====================================
SQL:
Fully tested with SQL Server 2016, 2017 and 2019. OP has always included SQL Server Express 2017 as part of the default installation.
SQL 2022 is on the roadmap to be fully tested. We have not seen problems during limited testing, and do not anticipate issues.
Earlier OP releases also supported SQL 2012, but this is no longer supported in version 2.1.4 and later (build 2022.08.18 and later). Any earlier versions where the customer chose to install the Complete edition of OP to their own instance of SQL 2012 or 2014 must be upgraded to SQL 2016 or after, before updating Cloud On-Premise to its later version. Cloud On-Premise releases after April 4, 2023 will contain a SQL version check before attempting to upgrade an earlier version of Cloud On-Premise.
=====================================
Windows:
Windows Server 2016, 2019 (version 1809) and 2022.
Windows 10 (22H2 only) and Windows 11 (21H2 and 22H2), Professional editions or higher.
Note that when Microsoft ends extended support for an operating system, Wasp ceases official support for the platform as well.
Earlier OP releases also supported Windows Server 2012 R2, but this is no longer supported.
