WWS800 or WWS850 scanner: Determine the serial number and firmware version

The List Setting configuration barcodes are on printed page 3 (PDF page 4) of the Reference Guide (manual with configuration barcodes).
 
Procedure for outputting this information:
 
  1. Launch a program such as Notepad or MS Word to receive the information from the scanner.

  2. Scan Enter Setup (bottom of even-numbered pages).

  3. Scan the Page x configuration barcode. The data is sent immediately. Do not click out of your program from step 1, until all the data is transmitted.

  4. Scan Update (bottom of odd-numbered pages). If this step is omitted, the scanner is still in Setup mode.
 
An example list page is below. S/N is the serial number; Ver is the firmware version.
