AssetCloud & InventoryCloud: image/picture file formats supported by Report Designer

The Report Designer used by AssetCloud and InventoryCloud supports the following picture file formats:
.bmp
.gif
.jpeg/.jpg
.png
.tiff
.ico
.emf
.wmf
.svg

If the image file is going to be printed on labels, we highly recommend using a black & white (2-bit) version of the image, which has been scaled down to a dots per image value (DPI) matching the printer that will be used for labels. Do not use grayscale or color images. The TIFF, GIF, and BMP formats are good for this. JPEG and SVG are not.

For instance, a half inch square logo being printed to a 203 DPI label printer (the usual value for Wasp label printers) would only need to be about 102 pixels per side (0.5 inch times 203 DPI = 101.5). Using a larger image is likely to give slow printing or errors due to the printer trying and failing to scale the image itself.
