AssetCloud Report editing example: Show the number of assets on the Assets by Location Report

This AssetCloud report editing example describes how to add the number of assets to the Assets by Location Report.

Start designing the report.

Click into the Insert tab.

Drag a Text object onto Section 4.

Type or copy/paste the following into the Expression box:
Count: {Count()}

Note: You can change the text outside of the curly brackets if you want it to say something else, for example:
Total Assets: {Count()}

Click OK.

Adjust the object's position if needed.


Click into the Preview tab.


Your count object should show on the report's last page.

File menu, Save.

Close the Report Designer tab of the browser.

The report can now be run with parameters.
